I’m Kivonshe J (pronounced ki-Von-she). Welcome to my [internet] crib lol. I am a sarcastic, witty, and very much smart-mouthed woman who LOVES to smile, laugh, and inspire others. Photography- For the past 6 years my love for capturing people, places, and things through my eyes have grown immensely. Being self-taught didn’t afford me a lot of opportunities, seeing as no one knew (or knows) who I am, but this inspired me to go after my dreams by creating the opportunities I felt I deserved. That tenacity and perseverance allowed me to open doors that were right in front of me the entire time. It is my hope to continue to get better to bring your moments to life.

Novelist- I decided to write a book of fiction this year. Since I was 7 years old, I’ve always loved writing stories and plays. I even made my entire class do my version of a production of Adam and Eve in the 5th grade (Adam ate the fruit of his own free will lol). But, again, as I got older and developed deeper feelings, I became cautious of people reading my thoughts. However [comma] a Twitter user by the name of @mikkila_akins did a black writers and editors call for us to follow each other and talk about our projects. It was there the idea to release my novel in installments was born. On the couch, sipping Sweet Bitch wine (bomb! get you some), and tweeting in the moment. I received so much love that, when I sobered up and saw my bold declaration, I decided to “Just Do It.” I hope you enjoy this novel, for FREE, as you go along this journey with me.
